What used to be a humble curiosity that began in 1997 is now the pioneer of the Singapore craft beer scene.
How it started
Ernest Ng founded RedDot BrewHouse out of passion and love for a good homebrewed beer. That passion and love were passed to his daughter - Crystalla at the tender age of 7 when she started helping out her father.
Crystalla was hooked from that moment on.
As she grew up, the experiments with flavours and styles started. She loved the brewing process so much that she studied beer brewing science at VLB Berlin - the oldest beer brewing university in the world. Oh, and the young brewmaster is also trained in food science and received her Bachelor in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America. Talk about an impressive CV!
RedDot Today
Being the first female Singaporean certified brewmaster, Crystalla has been taking the craft beer world by storm by creating eccentric and original beer flavours that are inspired by her travel and her life.
