Are you team IPA or Pale Ale? We all have our own favourite beer style, that one beer type we are always on the lookout for on the Tap List of our beer bar.
Ever wondered what your beer type says about your personality?
IPA: The Cool Kid
Dress to impress, sophisticated, and always up to date on the latest trends. An IPA is a statement - a BIG and BOLD one. IPAs do not hide their flavours, instead present them with a "take it or leave it" approach.
Pilsner: Chill la bro
It's all about comfort. If there were a beer style that represented "The Dude" from the move The Big Lebowski", this would be it. This is that one friend who just wants to have a beer (or 2) and get on with their day. They don't need fancy hops or intricate flavors. All they need is a beer in a glass.
Lager: "John" the reliable one
We all have a "John" in our life. That friend who is always prepared no matter what the situation is. They're the friend you call when your car runs out of battery or fix that door that broke. For some reason, all reliable people are named "John". This guy loves to sit with friends and reminisce about the good old days, and they cherish the simple things in life.
Stout: Business in the front, party at the back
There is a time and place for everything. There's a time to laugh and there's a time to be serious - often mistaken for being "too serious". Like a fine-wine drinker, they like to mull over flavors, pondering them, and they apply this same care and scrutiny to other parts of their life.
Sour: The Adventurer
This is a person who has seen and experienced many things. It's never a dull moment with them. They've traveled the world, tried food you've never even heard of, and maybe even rode a camel once. They’re experienced and cultured, and familiar with lots of different tastes and flavors. This is that one friend who always manages to get you out of your shell and somehow find yourself on crazy adventures with.
Do you know any of the people mentioned above? Is it accurate or should we have another beer and take another crack at writing this blog?
